WE’RE LOOKING FOR AN AUSTRALIAN DIRECTOR

Rob’s Dogs Foundation is looking for a new volunteer Director who is an Australian resident and wants to genuinely get involved.

This is a working volunteer role.

We’re not looking for someone who simply wants the title of “Director” or to attend the occasional meeting. RDF is growing, and we need people who are prepared to step up, take ownership and actually get things done.

One of the key areas we’d like this person to take ownership of is our Australian financial administration and reporting.

You do NOT need to be an accountant.

Our Australian reporting is relatively straightforward and high-level. We need someone who is organised, comfortable with numbers, able to keep an eye on income and expenditure, maintain the basic financial records and make sure our annual reporting is completed properly.

Experience or an interest in finance would therefore be highly desirable.

More generally, we need someone who:
• Is an Australian resident
• Is reliable and proactive
• Takes ownership rather than waiting to be asked
• Communicates well
• Follows things through
• Is comfortable working independently
• Has the time and willingness to genuinely contribute
• Cares about what RDF is trying to achieve

This is a volunteer position with no salary.

You don’t need to know everything about running a foundation. You don’t need to be a vet. And you certainly don’t need to have all the answers.

But you do need to be the kind of person who sees something that needs doing and thinks:

“Yep. I’ll take care of that.”
