When you sign up, your chosen amount is automatically donated once a month. You can set this up via credit/debit card, PayPal (using our donorbox link) or direct debit into our Thai or Australian bank accounts.

Yes! Donorbox allows you to choose, we have some suggested amounts preset – but the amount and frequency is up to you!

You can change, pause, or cancel your monthly donation at any time through your donorbox account or by cancelling DD in your mobile banking app.

At Rob’s Dogs monthly donations support essential sterilizations and vaccinations:
$5/month = 5 x Rabies vaccinations
$20/month = sterilizes 1 female cat
$50/month = sterilizes 1 female dog

Yes! You can specify this in Donorbox and all Monthly Donors are also invited to have a personalized flag displayed in our clinic’s intake area. You can either create your own flag or let us know what personal message you’d like, and we’ll make one for you using 100% reclaimed materials.

Donorbox will send you an email to update your payment method. It’s a good idea to check your account periodically to make sure your details are up to date.

Lots of people ask us why we release same day. 
And some don’t ask nicely either… accuse us of being cruel and heartless. 

1. Its standard protocol all over the world for high volume S&N to release same day. 

2. The numbers that we need to do in Thailand to even start making a dent in the control of the stray population means we can be doing over 100 per day – nobody has space to keep hundreds of dogs or cats overnight.
3. We wait until they are recovered from the anesthesia and are alert and mobile before we send back. 

4. Our doctors are highly trained and skilled at high Quality, High Volume Spay &Neuter (HQHVS&N) 

5. Our doctors make the smallest incision possible, usually 1-2 cm or smaller. (We have had people who work on spay and neuter from other countries exclaim how they can’t even see our doctors incision. )
6. We use dissolving sutures.
7. We use the “cosmetic” suturing technique, where the sutures are hidden under the skin, combined with dissolving suture material this means the wound heals quickly & is less irritating for the animal. 

8. Our doctors give importance to every step of the surgery, starting from the incision to open, through the surgery all the way until the wound is sutured closed.
9. All our doctors prioritize safety. Therefore, every step of the process is meticulous
10. Our doctors have very good suturing skills – with beautiful stitches that are not too tight, not too wrinkled, not rough, and without seams.
11. We also we use the technique of tying knots in each layer of stitches to separate them to prevent the wound from rupturing if the dog or cat chews on the wound.
12. All these techniques can help the surgical wound heal very quickly within a few days after surgery and reduce the chances of the wound rupturing.

Our philosophy is to treat each animal as if it were our own personal pet. 
Just because we do huge numbers doesn’t mean we compromise quality or care.
